Camp Australia
Our focus is always on the kids.
When Camp Australia was established 25 years ago, the kids who attended our programs had simple needs. They wanted to be active, happy and cared for after school. In the time since, nothing much has changed. Except our ability to deliver better resourced programs for more children that tie in with each school and community we work with.
We take fun seriously.
Our team of educators deliver tailored programs that are fun, safe, engaging, inclusive and compliant with all aspects of the National Quality Framework. We partner with each school we work with to ensure that the program extends the school curriculum, reflects the local community's values and captures each child's interest.
Every Camp Australia program includes elements of:
- Outdoor play time: sport, skills development and general play
- Construction and manipulative play: art and craft, cooking, building and indoor games
- Creative time: drama, musical appreciation
- Life skills: community involvement, role playing, communication and social skills development
- Homework and quiet time
- Unique experiences: we draw on specialist Camp Australia kits that enable us to teach activities like circus skills, yoga, fencing, skateboarding, martial arts, golf and calisthenics
